Switching off the machine

Updates may occur when you switch on the machine and when you shut it down via the touchscreen. In case of a major Windows® update, the update process may take several hours.

  • Always shut down the machine via the touchscreen before switching it off at the main power switch or disconnecting it from the electrical source.
  • Always wait until the machine has completely shut down before pressing the main power switch or disconnecting the machine from the electrical source.
  • When you switch on the machine, always wait until the machine is fully operational. Do not switch it off or disconnect it from the electrical source while it is starting up.

You can shut down the machine when it is not processing.

  1. Make sure that the working chamber is clean.
  2. Insert a block into the blank holder.
  3. Close the working chamber door.
  4. Select the depicted icon in the Home section of the touchscreen.
    • If the maintenance interval for software updates has been exceeded, the machine will ask you whether you want to search for updates.
  5. If you want to switch off the machine without updating, select .

  6. Wait until the touchscreen is switched off and the machine has completely shut down. Restart information: Starting the machine

  7. DANGER!Switch off the machine at the main power switch.

  8. (Optional) Unplug the power cable.
  9. (Optional) Switch off the main power switch of your workstation / facility.
