Maintaining the machine with DentalCNC

Where are the maintenance functions? Is there a list with all maintenance functions in DentalCNC?

Like any advanced machine, your dental machine requires proper and regular maintenance.

DentalCNC is required for some maintenance tasks.

 Use the maintenance section in DentalCNC

The maintenance section in DentalCNC lists maintenance tasks with a fixed interval for the connected machine and tells you when they are due.

List of maintenance tasks assisted by DentalCNC

The following maintenance tasks available for all users in DentalCNC:

Calibrating the machine with calibration specimens

Test the mechanical accuracy of your machine and calibrate it with the provided calibration specimens if necessary.

Drilling tool positions (holes) into new tool magazine inserts

If you replace the tool magazine inserts, you must drill new holes into them.

Drying the working chamber with compressed air

You can manually activate the working chamber drying for R5 machines.

Entering the license key

If no DentalCAM 8 license key is stored in the currently connected machine, you need to enter it.

Moving the spindle into transport position

If you want to repackage certain machines, you need to move the spindle into transport position to properly install the transport lock.
