Testing the measuring key

There are 2 ways to check the measuring key:

  • Manually by pressing it down and observing if the icon in DentalCNC is highlighted. This can be done by every user.
  • Automatically with the corresponding test function in DentalCNC. Customer service can do this for you.

Testing the measuring key manually

  1. Use the documentation for your machine to locate the measuring key.
  2. Make sure that the axes are in default position.
  3. Open the DentalCNC Application settings with the following icon in the main icon bar: 
  4. Open the Current machine parameters view with the following icon in the local icon bar: 
  5. Press the measuring key and keep it pressed.
    • The following icon should be highlighted as shown:
  6. Release the measuring key.
    • The icon should no longer be highlighted:
  7. Repeat steps 4 & 5 multiple times and verify that the outcome is always as described.
