Connecting the machine

The installation steps up to operation are:

Attaching the CAM computer

Only for machines with external CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC.. The CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. is not attached to the machine on delivery.

CAM computer variant 1

  1. Hang the hooks (marked blue) of the bracket on the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. into the slots (marked orange) of the bracket on the machine.

     

  2. Move the movable part of the bracket (marked blue) outwards and towards the machine.

     

  3. Slide the movable part of the bracket (marked blue) into the slots of the bracket on the machine. Tighten the screw (marked red).

     

  4. Connect the machine and the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. with the supplied USB cables.

     

CAM computer variant 2

  1. Place the bracket on the back of the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. on the screws of the back panel cover (marked in blue). Make sure that all 4 recesses (marked orange) are on the screws.

     

  2. Move the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. to the right and downward. Check that the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. is securely attached to the back panel cover.

     

  3. Connect the machine and the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. with the supplied USB cables.

Establishing the electric connection

The machine requires an uninterruptible power supply for proper operation.

  1. Plug the provided power cable into the mains connection on the connection panel of the machine.
  2. NOTICE! To avoid job interruptions, install an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), type online / VFI (IEC 62040-3, Class 1) if there are regular power failures or frequent mains voltage fluctuations.

  3. Insert the plug of the cable into a socket that is protected by a Residual Current Device / Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.
  4. Machines with external CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC.: Plug the power cord supplied with the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC. into the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC.’s power socket. Insert the plug of the cable into a socket that is protected by a Residual Current Device / Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.
