Error code -24 – Broken tool in the collet chuck
DentalCNC aborts the job and displays the error code.

Can you remove the collet chuck and remove the tool debris?
This does not work with AirTools, whose propeller covers the opening of the collet chuck.
How to check this:

Remove all tool debris from the collet chuck.

If the collet chuck rotates during opening and removal fails, select No.
If you were able to remove the collet chuck, select Yes.
Does a reference drive of the machine solve the problem?
It may be possible to open the collet chuck after a reference drive of the machine. Opening the collet chuck will block the spindle rotation.
How to check this:

Close DentalCNC.

Close the working chamber door.

Switch off the machine at the main power switch.

Wait 5 seconds.

Switch on the machine at the main power switch.

Start DentalCNC.
-
Open the maintenance section.

Select the following icon for the entry Clean collet chuck:
- Open the working chamber door.

Carefully try to pull the tool downwards out of the collet chuck.

Disassemble the collet chuck with the wrench and remove all tool debris.

If the propeller of an AirTool covers the opening of the collet chuck, select No.
Can you pull the propeller off the tool and then remove the collet chuck?

Open the working chamber door.

Pull the propeller downwards from the tool.
You need a lot of power to do this.

Remove all tool debris from the collet chuck.
