To prepare DentalCNC and the machine for machining jobs, the correct tools must be in the virtual tool magazine and the machine’s tool magazine.
Determining which tools you need for a job
DentalCNC lists all required tools for the job including the tool life values in the bottom right corner of the Tool management view.
Automatically equipping the machine's tool magazine
You can insert tools into the collet chuck of the spindle and the spindle will insert them into the specified tool positions.

DentalCNC can help you determine the maximum tool life values for the blank types and tools that you use.
Changing tool parameters in the tool list
In the Tool list view you can manually change the maximum tool life value for each supported tool.
Forcing a manual tool change for certain tool positions
If 1 or more tools cannot be loaded from the machine’s tool magazine, your can force a manual tool change for these positions.
