Is the used blank incorrect, damaged or soiled?

Did you use the correct tools for the job?

You can use the following information in DentalCNC to determine which tools are required:

The required tools in the 'Job details' section of the Machining view

Did the spindle pick up the tool correctly via the collet chuck?

The tool ring must touch the bottom side of the collet chuck.

The tool ring touches the bottom side of the collet chuck

Is at least 1 tool broken or damaged?

Have you cleaned the collet chuck in the last 7 days? Is the collet chuck screwed in tightly?

Recommendation

1. Check for a update and install it.
2. If a firmware update is available for your machine, ensure that it is installed during or after the DentalCAM update.  Updating the firmware of the machine
3. Restart the job.

Recommendation

• Only mount blanks in your machine which you can select in DentalCAM.

• If the blank is soiled, clean it.
• If the blank is damaged or incorrect, replace it.

The spindle may be too cold. As a result, the measured values may be out of tolerance.

1. Warm up the spindle via DentalCNC 8.04 or higher.

2. Restart the job.

1. Exchange all incorrect tools.

1. Remove the tool from the collet chuck.

2. Clean the collet chuck as described in the machine’s operating instructions.

3. If the collet chuck is defective or too soiled to be properly cleaned, exchange it for a spare collet chuck.

4. Restart the job.
