Starting the machine

The workflow for restoration is as follows:

  1. Make sure that the machine is properly installed.
  2. Switch on the machine at the main power switch.
  3. Close the working chamber door.
  4. Start the CAM computerClosed The computer that is connected to your machine and which runs DentalCAM and DentalCNC..
  5. Start DentalCNC.
    • The working chamber lighting lights up. The machine references.
  6. If the machine is does not reference because the working chamber door is open, close the door. Wait until the machine has referenced.

Starting the machine with a tool in the collet chuck

Under some circumstances like a power failure, there can be a tool in the collet chuck of the spindle when you start the machine.

CAUTION

Danger of cuts and burns when touching tools with your bare hands

If you handle tools on the cutting surface, you may be injured. As the tool may be very hot, you may also suffer from skin burns.

  • Only touch tools at their shank.
  • When handling tools, wear protective gloves.
NOTICE

Machine damage if you do not remove the tool

If the tool remains in the spindle after confirmation of the message, it will collide with and damage machine parts.

  • Remove the tool as described below.
  1. Start the machine.
    • DentalCNC displays that there is a tool in the collet chuck.
  2. Open the working chamber door.
  3. CAUTION!Wear gloves.

  4. Hold the tool in the collet chuck in place.

  5.  

  6. Confirm the current message.
    • The collet chuck opens.
  7. Remove the tool from the collet chuck.

     

  8. Confirm the current message.
    • The machine is ready for operation.
