Application settings of DentalCAM

Where are the settings of DentalCAM? How do I change the options? What machining parameters are there?

The application settings provide access to all the 'behind the scenes' options in DentalCAM. While the application was designed to work out of the box, it can be very useful to know how to adapt DentalCAM to your workflow.

  • Open the DentalCAMapplication settings window with the following icon in the main icon bar:
    • The settings window opens.

At the top of the window, a local icon bar displays which provides access to the different sections of the settings.

Specify general and blank type specific machining parameters such as:

Editing machining parameters and optional tools

Optional tools

Tool usage sequence

Editing machining parameters and optional tools

Blank type list

Activate and deactivate blank types according to your needs:

  • Discs
  • Blocks
  • Prefabricated abutments

Customizing the material list
