Error code -5 – Error reading file

Have you saved the STL file on the C: drive of your CAM computer?

Is the STL file write-protected?

How to check this:

Windows 10:

1. Right-click onto the STL file in Windows Explorer.
2. From the context menu, select Properties.
• The Properties window opens.
3. On the General tab, locate the Read-only check box.
• If the check box is ticked, the file is write-protected.
