Cleaning the cooling liquid system

If the flow rate of the cooling liquid isn’t sufficient or the corresponding interval in the maintenance table has been exceeded, you must clean the cooling liquid system.

The task consist of the following automated processes:

Material damage when cleaning the cooling liquid system incorrectly

If you clean the cooling liquid system incorrectly, the machine, blanks and tools will be damaged.

  • Only use Tec Powder from vhf to clean the cooling liquid system.
  • Carefully follow the instructions below.
  1. Have ready:

    1 x Tec Powder (50 g)

     

  2. Select the Cleaning the cooling liquid system maintenance task.
    • The on-screen guide displays.
  3. Remove the following items from the working chamber:
    • Any blank and holder
    • The tool magazines
  4. Perform a weekly cleaning of the working chamber.

  5. Empty and clean the cooling liquid tank.

  6. CAUTION!Pay attention to the label on the packaging of the TecPowder and wear personal protective equipment.

  7. Fill 2 l (2.1 qt) of drinking water without cooling lubricant into the tank.

  8. Add 50 g Tec Powder to the water. Stir the water until the powder is completely dissolved.

  9. Insert the tank into the machine.
    • The cleaning process starts. The remaining time is displayed in the info area of dentalcnc‘s main application window.
  10. Wait until the process is finished.
  11. Empty the cooling liquid tank. Refill it with drinking water without cooling lubricant.

  12. Insert the tank into the machine.

    • The rinsing process starts. The remaining time is displayed in the info area of dentalcnc‘s main application window.
  13. Wait until the process is finished.
  14. Empty the cooling liquid tank.
  15. Exchange the carbon filter.

  16. Thoroughly clean the cooling liquid tank.
  17. Fill in cooling liquid for the machining process.

  18. Insert the tool magazine into the working chamber.
