Exchanging the nozzle plate

1. Have ready:

   1 x SpareNozzle plate

   

   1 x Torque screwdriver 1.5 Nm with TX10 bit

   

2. Start the machine.

3. Open the working chamber door.

4. Switch off the machine at the main power switch.

5. Unscrew the screws (marked orange) that fixate the nozzle plate. Hold the nozzle plate with one hand in place.

   

    

6. Remove the nozzle plate and the screws from the working chamber.

7. Prepare the spare nozzle plate:

   1. Press the spindle seal (marked orange) into the recess of the nozzle plate.

   2. Insert the 3 seals (marked blue) into the nozzle plate.

8. Position the spare nozzle plate so that the plate’s cooling liquid openings in the bellow line up with the openings in the nozzle plate. Hold the nozzle plate with one hand in place.

   

    

   

    

9. Using the 1.5 Nm torque screwdriver, tighten the nozzle plate with 4 screws (marked orange).
